Sorry, but your too general on that statement, it doesn't work. The real problem appears to be minimum airflow through the recently redesigned front end, based on some tests that are being run, which is causing the fan to come on just about all the time.
Yesterday we had 100 deg heat. Not towing but beating around there was no difference in coolant temp than on a cool day. I even have a window screen to keep th bugs out of the rad. I also rarely hear the fan. They got the Cummins down pat. You almost can't lose.
GM can take their Dmax and shove it on the clueless. I had enough headaches and worries the three years I had my Dmax.
