The Garmin c-330 I have is updated off the internet. There have been 3 updates since I purchased it bout 9 months ago. A good place to check the different models out is www.gpsnow.com Their prices were way better than any other site I found & local retail was even worse.

Update discs are available for $150 but unless you are in a real growth area I think you should be able to get by for a few years on the original DVD.
The joystick is not as convenient as a touch screen would be, but the display is big and bright, and has other nice features that compliment the Sirius.
