Nice job, Wade. That thing actually does run. :D

don't say that it didn't run too good. missing a shift is not good to me. :D

i mean 12. 60's are ok but i wanted to see what it was really going to run. i spent until 1 oclock saturday night putting that trans in.

we will be back down there this sunday a 10 oclock sharp to do some more testing mostly with my truck this weekend. but only one or two passes. i will probably be leaving there around 1 or so. im sure wade will make a few passes if we can get the transmission shifting right buy then. the govenor pressure is through the roof on that thing. line pressures are correct though. so i have a good feeling about this one.

good looking run wade, i knew it ran but only pulling it onto a trailer is all i have ever seen :). what were your egt's like at the end of the run? you must have better ears than me, with all those other motors running kinda hard to hear 1,2,3 shifts. you can hear plain as day the last shift thats about it. so what is next in line for the silver rocket? Any news on this trans and how it is doing? josh

sorry i couldnt make it, when work calls i have to answer. No work= No money for toys or mortgage. Proper tuning of the ol 12v will continue once hunting season is over! 2 weeks and counting til bear season!!!

we think transmission is going to be ok. i think he said all he saw was 1350 at the end of the track on egt's. i thought thats all i heard at the track also but after sitting and watching the video 20 times you can start to hear and see the shifts. you can also notice how long it in third gear.

next i think were gonna sell it. :p

haah i heard that b4, so what you going to buy next? 6. 7l or a Dmax. one prob, both of those motors have a ton more sensors and are more complex, i know wade had a hell of a time with sensors on the ol simple 5. 9L. haha jk. maybe he should get a 12v! :) (i know a guy who knows a guy that can really tune a pump)

wade has been involved with a few other trucks including a d-max or two that go faster than his... ... ... ... . sensors were not his problem, it was the transmission, well still the transmission :rolleyes:

for some odd reason i thought i heard that you all replaced all the sensors on the truck bc that was the last thing it could be or the ecm.

he did replace all the sensors and the ecm. but that was not the problem the trans has been putting the truck in limp mode.

for those of you who want to come out and race we will be back at the track this weekend and the next (dec 3rd) open house continued... ... ... ... ..... :-laf

What was wrong today ?? Too hot, Too cold, Too sunny, Too cloudy, Too windy, Not enough wind ?? Or the transmission didn't shift, The tires spun, The winter fuel is really killing his performance ?? WE need to start a post why Wade's truck can't keep-up. Kinda like a Letterman top 10. LOTFLMAO Thanks Steve B. :-{}
