I had fixed my multifunction switch as described here in the TDR. Having other issues, right turn indicator light out, I took the hit and visited the stealership. I had in hand the document I printed form Chrysler, the TSB, with extended warranty informatiom. First the dealer tried to say they never heard of any extended warranty on the switch, then after looking over the documentation I provided them, they claimed I was the first customer ever to come in for this repair. After the tech checked out my switch, he was unable to duplicate any issues related to it. I let them know the grease had liquified in the switch and was inside the column housing. They would not replace the switch, reporting that without any issues, they weren't allowed to just throw one in. So be it. I have time. Unfortunatly for me, I wound up paying $130 for diagnostic time to tell me I needed a new instrument cluster. I'll just yank it out and replace it myself, they wanted over 460 just for the part, no wonder the'yre hurting.
