07 5.9 trans build and smarty settings??

I am getting my trans done in Oct by Fred Swanson in Az.....



he's doing the works and recommended i get my smarty/revo and decide what settings i want to run 90% of the time so he can dial in the trans for best perf possible..... apparently the different settings can mess with trans performance and i wont have a lot of time to play with the smarty to find the settings i like best.



the smarty is on order with an exhaust manifold and the guages i'll need. i intend to get all that installed prior to fred's work but was wanting some advice on where to start with the revo settings. seems like on the few programmer/boxes i've experienced i liked whatever the "tow" settings were for best overall perf and efficiency and daily driving.



any advice on what settings on a smarty revo would resemble that type of performance?



i know you won't believe this but i intend to stop there with the mods.

I dont know why its not showing my truck profile, but mine is very similar

07 5. 9 48re 5 inch, full guages etc.

I started mine on #5 after my transmission rebuild for 4 weeks then moved to #7 and its been on that sense may running good.

i'm getting some good feedback on this but, in retro, i think my question is (stoopid) too hard for others to answer..... we all have our specific likes/dislikes. i'm going to have to figure this one out myself.

Gear ratio,tire size and peak power you will play with along with how you will be using it matter more than what settings on the smarty. Go big the first go round and get the shift enhanser,it is a nice touch especially towing.
