Make a damn truck that one can use "With a Slide- in Camper" !!!!!!!!!

(... and take off those dingle- berry flaps at the rear of the wells and PUT IN REAL WHEEL LINERS!!!)

I agree on the paint and the metal, it sucks. I also think they should make the inside a little more sound. Hear way to much door noise and when I shut my door it just feels like the door panels are cheap

Put a decent rear suspension under it. Got my first Dodge in 2005 and have never had a truck with such weak rear springs. Buy a ton truck and then have to get after market overloads to pull your 5th wheel that you pulled with brand X 3/4 ton with no overloads, very disappointing.

That doesn't sound like the same 05 3500 DRW I bought. The brand X (Ford), 3/4 ton couldn't handle the size cab-over camper I have nor could it handle the 29' 5th wheel I had. That was why I bought the 95 3500 DRW. I liked so much that I bought an 05 just like the 95, only the 05 is sooo much better.

Only real complaints I have:

#1 Make the '06 floor console removeable... sometimes people like to take 6 people around.

#2 Give us dark grey interior back, the light grey I got stains super easy and the dark looks better.

Little pet peeves:

#1 Change the angle of the little tab on the vents, they are at an angle now that makes them not the easiest to point.

#2 Get rid of the woodgrain trim as standard. I'm used to mine, but I would prefer solid black or brushed aluminum.

#3 Change the remotes to something similar, the new ones are pretty darn fat.

well for the 45/5500 that we are looking at buying for work when it comes out i would like to see a big engine like maybe a step up from whatever they put in the 25/3500 w/ a jake installed or compatiable a real jake not exhaust if not then an exhaust would be good also the nv5600 is nice but a roadranger 9 or 10 would be sweet or a 2 speed rear end w/ a 5600 also a good 4wd front axel like super 70 or something idk whats going in but it would be sweet also on board air for air horns and other things that might possibly be run off it w/ an in cab contoller oh and all kinds of gauges boost pyro tran(if auto) oil tremp and air pressure(if air system is installed)

I would like be able to swipe the wipers one time by slapping down on the stalk like my Jeep Grand Cherokee and for the love of Pete lets see some manual hubs.

I would like.....

> a Heavy Duty 6-Speed Auto w/ manual select mode and a real Tow/Hual and

Overdrive lockout button.

> I would like to see a nice polished 5 spoke design 20" Heavy Duty wheel

Package on Laramie Trims, or how a bout a model comenserating cummins.

> An increase to a standard 18" Wheel for SLT and 17" Wheel for ST.

> Selectable Locking Rear Differential or a better Limited-Slip?

> Traction Control & Stability program

> Optional High intesity discharge headlamps

> Reverse Sensors or Back/up Camera.

> Aux 12 Volt power outlets in cargo areas.

> One of those slow drop down tailgates like the Nissan Titan.

NO... . That wood trim is AWESOME! Actually it really dresses up the interior nicely. It is one thing that drew me to the Dodge, aside from the Cummins.

Mike

1. Air suspension--both the truck and the driver's seat.

2. A real cab, non p/u style

3. Eaton 9spd-synchros, we don't need no stinking synchros

4. Real "Jake"

5. Chrome/stainless drop visor

6. Skip the 6. x and go straight for the 8. 3l

I think I just spec'd out an FL80...

#1: Stronger ball joints on the front axle that are greasable

2#: Stronger carrier bearing on the 2 piece rear drive shaft

3#: Heavier sheet metal

4#: Stronger bed floor

5#: Carpet delete option on the Laramie packages with leather seats

6#: Make the wood grain dash inserts optional

7#: 6 speed auto

8#: Stock exhaust that auctually sounds good

9#: Full rear wheel well liners standard

10#: Leave the damn block heater cord on the engine. . The way it somes from Cummins

Im not asking for alot... This is basic stuff that should not be an issue on a $45,000 truck!

How about removing the DOOR OPEN dinger. What a pita when working close to the truck, and want to listen to the radio, or for the phone to ring, etc etc.

and a LOUD Cummins with a mechanical injection pump and half the valves :) :) :)

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the advantage of half the valves? I thought that 4 valves per cylinder would breath better and the more smaller valves would weigh less.
