On a 4500/5500 series truck. I would like to see:
(1) A Cummins with more torque. Horsepower comes later.
(2) A real Jake brake, none of this exhaust brake nonsense.
(3) EGT/oil/boost/transmission gages. Real gages, not dummy gages.
(4) Dana 80 or better, rear end/electric locker option.
(5) Dana 70 or better, front end/electric locker option.
(6) FASS lift pump/filter or equivalent.
(7) Larger fuel tank/65 US gallons would be ideal.
(8) Transmission, NV5600 or better.
(9) Metal intercooler/no plastic junk.
(10) Real bumper/winch option.
(11) Single cab 4500/5500 option.
(12) 10 foot bed/ with dump option.
(13) 19. 5 wheels stock.
(14) Heavy duty tow package.
(15) Heavy duty lighting option.
(16) Top of the line theft deterrent electronics option.
Basically, I am asking DC to build a dually 5500 series Power Wagon with a Cummins engine/NV5600 transmission on 19. 5 wheels. These options are readily available through DC/Dodge and would build an ideal heavy duty truck.
Now, who's the first man in line to spring $80K for a 5500 series Dodge truck?
