The bottome line is we have developed the 8an sets for guys with 350 plus. The 6an setup is fine for 350 and under, but we will hone that situation as well,

correct me if I am weong here chris,

the 8an setup will help with many more people than I expected, prime example was a prominant person calling me today and asking about the setup,

soooooooo 350 and under A 6an setup with a good lift pump at the rear will be more than adequate,
But the argument is that why even go 8an if we dont enlarge fuel filter, so we are enlarging fuel filter, it is logical, unfortunately it just adds cost
just upgraded lines will help keep the pump healthy or even MM's method of drilling the banjos, so email any of us, we are all ready to help you
the web site below has info about fuel lines
I can build or help someone else build their lines
We have worked on many options for all levels of HP

brandon , don't set in stone that 350 hp level as the mark to decide which size to go with and by all means don't shut down production , its up to the buyer to choose what is best for their setup . i'm going to be on a dyno this weekend with -6 lines right to the injection pump , possibly even with the banjo fittings still in place #ad
, i'm expecting to see 400 HP plus to the ground . the DD3's are in and the stock lift pump and all lines including the tank pickup are working fine . its only when i turn on the PE that all goes in the dumper .

hi country , i see you only have a VA ? if you go to 275's and a boost module , move your lift pump to the rear the stock pickup and factory sized lines will be fine . with 275's , a va and my HOT PE in level 3 just drilling the banjo bolts , ditching the restrictive line between the lift pump and filter housing and a little modifying of the fuel heater and the outlet tube in the stock filter housing WOT throttle [pressure never fell below 3-4 psi , with the PE off never below 6 psi .

I have not set in stone, but this is a feeling I have seen with others, the mild guys just appear to want a good lift pump and upgraded 6an, power mongrels want more, I just talked to a 400 horse owner yesterday and said he cant get any more power and he wants the "big one " to, with 3-4 psi at wot that is still unacceptable to some of us and we want a little more pressure, hvac already proved fuel system changes give hp at the dyno, Our next projuect should be to show the hp increase on a fullly rigged 8an setup,

I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS A HP PRODUCT, BUT it has been shown already to increase hp by hvac and its gotta increase the longevity of the vp,
I am not trying to set in stone, just trying to give people a direction only, then let them make decisions, the production is still rolling

i'm not saying that 3-4 psi is acceptable , its not , i would like to see 10 psi , the banjo bolts have got to go , but honestly , a guy running 350 or less will be fine with modified banjo bolts and removal of that line between lift pump and filter on 2000 and up .

if someone feels they want to go to -8 they should drill out the filter housing , it makes no sense to have that restriction of a -8 to 12mm in 2 place before the injection pump . -8 line should go hand in hand with the new filter housing you are investigating .

edited above , typed in lift pump instead of injection pump. dooooh!!

more to think about???? MM I do have a boost mod and elbow. I have not decided on the 275s or DD1s yet I am really happy now and looking for a clutch first #ad
!! I may just move the factory pump, I guess my 4140 is being back ordered? I have built these lines before so being able to go 6AN with no special parts is a plus. The loads I haul rarely exceed 14k total with truck. So I think I will be fine. I am just paraniod about injector pump problems! My truck has been almost perfect for 54k miles and I do not want that to change. Thanks for the info.

Once again, as I read some of the more technical stuff, I am completely lost. I must say that most members impress the hell out of me with their ingenuity and ability to solve "original equipment" shortcomings and problems. Although I am completely lost on this issue it is **** good fun reading and trying to figure out exactly what the modification will be doing. Very cool.

The deposit & parts have been sent to the machinist so we should have these fittings by the end of April, maybe a little sooner--again they will be steel and hogged out for maximum flow with hopefully a little more thread to play with than the weber fittings-it won't be much more thread but maybe 1-2 hopefully---as soon as I get more info I'll let everyone know via this thread----chris

thanks for the update chris , didn't know where we stood , how many are you running off ? i'll keep the aeroquip thing in the wings incase it takes off .

150 of 'em, but I may increase it if more guys want them--I figure I got 1 week to change the amount---we will be able to run more later, but for this first go around 150 is what's in the works---chris

i just got off the phone with aeroquip and they are very positive about making this part . the person i talked to thinks they may have a drawing for it and that it may have been a part they made , if not would be easy to modify their existing 1/4 npt end to the 12mm , gave him a number of 500 to 1000 pieces , we'll see what the cost per comes back as .

$6,000,000. 00 ea give or take $5,999,994. 00--really hoping to get them shipped at $6. 00 ea, but I won't know the exact amount until we get some details worked out..... chris
