Should be no problem at all, my SPS 62/14 does pretty much the same, depending where thre TST box is set at. Once it comes up on boost, temps drop unless I 'm really working it.![]()
try dropping a gear and raising the revs. i get better mpg and lower temps towing in 5th at 2000-2200 rpm

My truck tow's best using the wild program on level #3. I started out on my last trip on moderate #3 and the egt's would peg the gauge at 1500. The first overnight stop I loaded the wild program #3. The next day I couldn't get the egt's over 1300, cruising at 70 plus the temps would average about 850.
I pull a 13k fifth wheel camper. My truck doesn't like the other softwares when towing for some reason. Hope this helps.
The only time I had to down shift to 5th gear was on a 7% grade that was about 5 miles long. That was the only time the temps got to 1350. Other than that the hills dont slow you down much at all.
The only thing I had to be careful with, was at about 2100 to 2200 rpm in 5th or 6th gear, if I gave it to much fuel to fast the stock clutch would slip.
I also gained about . 5 mpg on the wild program, hand calc'd.
