Interesting topic, JKloppe.
I have HP formulas from a Mopar Magazine, that I have put on my computer. For my motorcycle (that I had) the numbers were extremely accurate to what the magazines were dyno testing. But for this drag run it seems to be less accurate due to the extreme bottom end of the Cummins. But here's what the formulas say.
HP 1/8th mile:
HP due to 1/8 time and 6400 lbs: 347. 97
HP due to 1/8 speed and 6400 lbs: 285. 60
HP 1/4th mile:
HP due to 1/4 time and 6400 lbs: 281. 74
HP due to 1/4 speed and 6400 lbs: 242. 36
My guess is that if your truck is an auto then it would be a little faster if you could get the transmission to shift a little sooner and take advantage of the bottom end power of the Cummins, such the 1/8th mile times reflects. Also, the formulas I used assume that the truck and driver weighs 6400 lbs. Are you sure the combo isn't heavier than that?
The last thing I'd like to add is that in the Mopar magazine, it said that the speed related formulas tended to be more accurate. I'd say that is for sure the case here. And I'd bet your pushing about 280 H. P. to the ground (but losing a little H. P. on the 2nd half of the 1/4 mile due to the extended higher revs). I also did some manipulations to the formulas to make them predict the E. T. and speed given H. P. and weight. Those formulas said your max (if you could stay at the optimum engine H. P. range) would be 16. 42 seconds and 83. 00 mph in the 1/4 mile.

I hope this info was halfway informative.
