On the nightly news they said the price per barrel of oil has dropped by $8. 00 over the last week so hopefully diesel will really start to come down in price. Oo. Oo.

Last night on Route 1 in Wrentham, Ma @ Mikes Truck Stop the price went down in the past week from $2. 049 to $1. 84. 9. Right now thats the best price around here. Yesterday at work I took the loader to the local Texaco in Hyde Park and it was $2. 169. Good thing the boss was paying!:--)

Let's keep things in perspective guys!!

Just be grateful you're not stuck with European diesel prices :{ ... . The last time I saw prices at this level in Europe was more than 5 years ago and even that was in Luxembourg , where the fuel tax levies are the lowest in the whole of Europe.



Right now in Germany it's almost the equivalent of US$3. 50/gallon but when I was visiting England last weekend, it's almost the equivalent of US$4. 35/gallon. No prizes for guessing where I filled up... ...

Yesterday (19th) I filled up at QT in KC, Ks for 1. 59 It's even cheaper on the Missouri side. The girl at the fuel desk said it went down 4 cents that morning, and some the day before (18th). I Hope it comes on down a little more, but with the ground war in progress, & a few wells burning, I just heard barrel prices are spiking up again.

If that happens to you, would you mind sending some of that good luck up this way, I'm really starting to get sick of paying anywhere between $2 and $2. 10 in this area, and as much as $2. 20 a couple states south of here.

It was $2. 89 in Death Valley (Furnace Creek) this weekend. I packed along 20 gals. from Las Vegas just in case and it payed off!!

Diesel is over $2 a gallon at some places here, and slightly below $2 at other places, but with my Aux. tank I am still burning $1. 50 diesel! Hee Hee. I've only got about 10 gallons left though! But since the southern (Iraq) oil fields were captured un-sabotaged, I hope prices will soon head down.

In northern Wisconsin Number 2 Has gone down from 1. 849 to 1. 599 in the last 4 days, at or below the price of unleaded, hope to see the price keep going down to where it was at last fall.
