I just checked the Flying J website today. Depending where you are Diesel is as low as $1. 19, but some places are still almost 2 dollars a gallon for Diesel. KL

GREAT NEWS!!

I filled up today for $1. 599 per gallon at my usual fueling town of Del Camino. The Shell station has always been less by at least . 05 per gallon but now things have changed and they are . 04 less per gallon! The good news is I asked the store manager when they would be switching to Summer Blend. He said late next week they would have summer blend and they have been promised it would sell @ $1. 25 per gallon!! Oo. Man I hope this holds true. It would save me almost $100 a month in fuel costs.

Prices here now in Intl Falls is now $1. 61 it seems to be like Wal Mart everybody is lowering their prices.



Woke up this morning to almost 3 in of snow and it is still snowing hard... . last week it was almost 60 degrees.

$1. 53 here yesterday. Nice little article in Four Wheeler page 115 this month in the Jeep Grand Cherokee article and it says the US has some of the lowest quailty diesel in the world. Low cetane. Afghanistan has much better fuel than we do. Why? The oil companies say we don't need good diesel because we all have low tech diesels. So, for now, the manufacturers are stuck with trying to build a hi perf clean diesel that runs on low grade US fuel. Our diesel must be formulated for those fuel oil heating boilers.

$1. 33 in eastern KY at 2 stations, the rest are around $1. 69. I don't understand why these two stations (10 miles apart) are always so much cheaper than the rest (20 mile radius), but I'm not complaining.



I've learned to watch where the coal trucks fill up, and do the same!

I realize these prices are for gas, not diesel, but maybe things are not as bad as they seem.
