Cummins Announces B20 Approval

Cost me $55 over the weekend to fill my truck. :{ :{ the sad part is the price actually dropped a few cents to 1. 959/gallon!! What a bargain. :--) :--) The prices are expected to increase more from what I have heard.

For all those who saw the fuel barge fire at Port Mobil on National news, I did experience it since it happened about 2 miles from my place of work. Yes, the buildings shook.

I know it was Gasoline, but I think it will effect us dieselers too, at least around here.

I saw some coast guard footage that showed the explosion from start to finish on Fox News. WOW! I have not been able to find it on the net anywhere yet. Talk about a big bang! Fuel here just got to $1. 75 on 2-26-03. Sounds like we have it pretty good here. Only time will tell. Anybody got any predictions on how high it's gonna go?

The cheapest I could find today was on Route 1 in Norwood MA. $1. 799 / gallon. It cost me $51. 50 to fill up. This is just plain stupid!

Good thing the US does not have an oil based economy anymore! Heard that on MSNBC one night. Yeeeeeeaaaaah. $2. 50 in two months?

My son just came in. $38. 00 to fill his truck. 38 + 51. 50 = $89. 50.

Almost $100 for fuel this week. That's almost 20% of my take home pay. I have gas heat. Waiting to see that one! Maybe if the oil company execs would only take 1/2 of their million plus dollar bonuses we would all be better off. You don't think they would go without! I have some stock in a couple of oil companies and their dividends have gone down. Can't even get anything that way. Wonder what motor oil is at. I have to do 3 oil changes this weekend.

With the price of gas, I am seriously considering putting a big tank in the backyard and buying heating oil. Up here in the Seattle metropolitan area I have never seen a dip site set up on the roads. You can just imagine how close I am. :(

crude up to $40.00 a barrel

Guess it'll be going higher. I paid $1. 899 for #2 yesterday.

At $2. 00 I no longer make money hauling. Time to find a new career.

Just drove past the station that I usually fill up at...

$2. 14 a gallon

The sad part is if there is no war, or when the war is over, how much do you really think it is going to drop. I think the days of 1. 25 are long gone!!!

I just ran NJ route 9 from sayerville to howell (about 30 miles) and I saw gas in the $1. 50's and Diesel in the 1. 60-1. 85 range. I tanked up the Durango with Sunoco reg @ 1. 53, and I found Hess Diesel for 1. 63 which I will go back and get mid week with the Ram.

It's been $1. 89 here in No. East Cal. for the past couple of weeks. Of course they'll prolly go and raise it, now that I said that. Regular unl. is $2. 03.
