2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 1 Ton to 3/4 Ton Swap, Anyone????

So I've got a 2001 one ton dually and I want to go to a 3/4 ton, the perfect swap would be with someone with a long box so we could swap boxes to. I definantely want a Dana 80 though so your truck would need to be a standard. Anyone interested????

Why yes it is! But it will be 100% before it goes anywhere. The main reasons I want to go to 3/4 ton is because some of the places won't let you pull with a dually and it gets expensive buying 6 tires.

I just finished converting my 97' dually into a SRW and after a lot of research I decided to keep the Dana 80. The dana 80 is a little wider that the SRW axle, but not enough for me to do an axle swap. I am very happy with the conversion and I will put some fender flares on the back to cover the wheels. I should add that I installed some 35"x12" tires so they do stick out more than the factory wheels. #ad
