I replaced my banks plate with a #10, and put in the 3K GSK a couple days ago. I have moved the plate progressively foward to try and decide where I wanted it, now it is fully forward. I was expecting to see lots of smoke and high egt's, but I only get a puff of black smoke before the turbo spools, and I haven't seen over 1100 pre-turbo. Bottom end power is definately stronger with the #10, but it seems to run out of power above 2300 RPM or so, not defueling, but just like it needs more fuel if that makes any sense.
I am going to try to get the timing set to 16 or 17 in the next day or two, but I don't think it will help the problem I'm having now.
