... I would have pulled my front hub/bearing assemblies on the first day of ownership to apply anti-seize lubricant.

... I would not have wasted time and effort when I bought a Dodge gasser. Instead I would have jumped right into the turbo diesel lifestyle... . that is why I now own a 12V and 24V. . ! Keep on ramming... the music is in the rattle...

..... I would have bought a 2007 5. 9L, 4X4, shortbed regular cab, 48RE auto transmission and modified it for high performance at the drag strip.

If I would've known that a Cummins turbo diesel can be this much fun to own, I'd have never bought that supercharged T-bird I had before waking up to the smell of sweet 12V diesel.

Sole reason for purchasing truck in 03, diesel was cheaper(1. 59 gal). "If I new then, what I know now"(4. 09 gal).

Throttle Position Sensor

I would have used the cruise control... ... ...

I would have asked to see the part, realized where it was and done it myself. .

Late Saturday night returning to Tucson from Las Vegas, lost throttle right in the construction area of I-10 where ALL exits were closed. Luckily, with the 6-speed, and the use of small hills, I was able to maintain 40mph being passed by TTs doing 70+. Got worried and had it towed. Didn't know the thing would reset, didn't think to use the manual cruise control, and didn't think to ask here before taking it to the dealer.

If I had known then what I know now, I would still have a few hundred bucks!!

I would have waited for an extended cab truck; I would have put the air ride driver's seat in earlier; and I would have traveled to Geno's garage the last time I visited grandchildren in Nashville. (I didn't realize it was only a 4 hour drive. )

$100 fuel card contest !

If i knew now what i knew then id still be in the long haul trucking buisness and still own my 95 Peterbilt 379 . In late summer in 2000 I was headed towards Denver from Eastern Kansas when I dropped the valve seat on my N14 Cummins , I watched at mechanic that supposely knew what he was doing fix my truck and when he got done it made the same poping noise through the intake as it done before . so after handing over $5,000 of blood sweat and tears . I was headed back home only to have to tear the engine down and fix the valve seat again because the so called truck mechanic for got a cam follower ,the parts were warrentied by cummins but 2500 in labor i had to eatand learn the hard way . If i knew about N14s then what i know now id still own my 379 and still be on the road today , that mistake cost my buisness and my Peterbilt

If I had known Diesels were this much fun, I would have bought one 10 years ago... ... . when Diesel really was cheaper than gas!

Hola TDR members! From Cozumel, Mexico... ... the weather is great here!

I would have not traveled to Arizona to buy a 2002 2500 CTD and just gone ahead and bit the bullet and goten a new 6. 7. Ouch the trade hurt!!!

Lovin my 2008!!!

I would have purchased a Cummins powered truck first instead of buying a GM 6. 2 diesel, what a waste of time and money.

Why Not (Chris)

I would have started bombing 40k miles earlier and not been concerned with the warranty. :-laf:-laf

... I would have held onto my '94 CTD, 22 MPG, you couldn't beat it. I would make it the Lee Majors of Dodge trucks. You know the 6 Million Dollar Man. Looking back I should have spent every dollar I had making it fit the family instead of other way around. Don't get me wrong I like, no I love my '03 but miss the lower fuel bills. OR is it because fuel is 3X what it was in '94 either way I still miss "April". Don't laugh I know you all have a pet name for your ride.
