Now thats a lot of guff from a guy who hasn't officially competed in any sport yet with is truck!!



East /west line, I'll make it easy.



West is anybody who thinks 1000 hp has not been broke in Indiana, Ohio.

West is also anybody who thinks that anybody in the state of California, Nevada, or Texas, or BC is leading the country in power, without Indiana or Ohio parts/technology, bought or otherwise.



As far as betting, I can't. You and Jason liberated me of my last dime, and I lost 140+ hp. Ouch.



That said, I caution you at doing something like that, if you are basing your power on your new dyno.



I believe it is reading high, possibly to having been calibrated to Canadian square wheels?

I kinda like that idea... I must have the fastest sub-400hp truck in the world!!

Wonder if one of those 1000+hp trucks will ever roll off the dyno and come out here to show me who's boss on the track... ? Prob'ly a big waste of money to drive so far just to be beat by a girl...

How big an event do we need to draw these Gods of horsepower over here? I'll put up money in my own defense, and a couple other West coast boys too. The strong silent types...

The way I figure it up here in the great white north, we are in a class of our own. We use Gelled Diesel fuel for slushies, and can't run high horsepower and torque on the street cause even with STOCK power you slip and slide all over the road when the weather is good! 4wheel drive is mandiatory, as well as your block heater. I wanna see a 1000hp truck drive through 2 feet of snow on your way to work.

Josh is right, it is difficult to drive in snow with a hand throttle and a stick shift, let alone all 4 locked, with a drop box pushing snow ... .

I believe the truck you're talking about is in the April 2004 issue of Four Wheeler magazine. He is one of the entrants for the Top Truck Challenge 2004. It's a 1994 Suburban with a 24 valve Cummins. It supposedly has twin turbos (150 psi of boost) and making 850 HP/ 1500 ft. /lbs. of torque. If you have the issue, see page #54. -Glen

Yeah its in four wheeler. Makes a lot of sense to have a truck with 44 inch tires with 850 hp and 1500 ft lbs... . what a waste, and id like to see how many parts are broken daily...
