WOW. Congradulations Joe #ad

Your new injectors were good for a 100HP increase? WOW!

And I thought R&D on new 12 Valve performance products was DEAD. #ad

Hey Joe, I must say that sounds impressive. Just curious though how much torque is that. Also what transmission setup would hold together for that much PWR. Again, Good Job...

WOW!!! BET THERE WERE ALOT OF RED FACED FURD LOVERS RUNNIN AROUND THERE. GREAT JOB!!

Joe:

Congratulations on the H. P. number!!!!

Did you do that strictly by adding the
"Super Mental Injectors" from DD??
If so are they available to the "general
public" yet??

Joe,rough numbers just for example @ 5 miles/gal @100 mph=20 g/hr or . 33 ga/minute. Our stock fuel lines and pump are good for about two gallons per minute from what I've read. You have a long way to go before you run out of enough fuel return for cooling. Even in a drag racing situation I can't see getting less than 10 mpg(I could be wrong)so you can cut the numbers in half. -Bill

wow #ad
, impressive Joe , but how bad does it smoke ? not to take anything away but every 12V i have seen that is putting out more HP has belched out black smoke when doing anything other than idling or putting down the road . just curious .

I promised you folks 600 several months ago on this forum. Couldn't let you down #ad

Major parts include DD Stage 6 Super Mental injectors from Diesel Dynamics, and a "slightly larger" turbocharger [but only one of them, while my 24 valve competition #ad
now has twin turbos in addition to all those "drugs"--propane and nitrous]. There was some careful "tuning" orchestrated by Lawrence and myself. Trans is a stock-rebuilt NV4500 with the Standard Trans. mainshaft and other parts from them as required to rebuild a "free" broken one I found a few months ago. Sorry, folks, it still has that Castrol Syntorq in it #ad

What smoke? You gotta be kidding #ad

And, yes, I think the Ford cousins were a bit surprised. They know about HVAC and his Red Rocket, but apparently had never heard of Sickly. One of our antics was to push it onto the dyno rollers, protesting that it didn't have enough power to climb up them #ad

All in good fun, they are a good bunch of folks even if they aren't Rammers. . . yet #ad

"Just say 'no' to drugs!"

Joe

Amazing and you did it without any advice from me.
See ya in May. #ad

I was pretty much worried about Sickly's fuel delivery system to the injection pump after hearing stories on this forum about pressure spikes, etc. Poor Sickly still has that stock 5/16" OD fuel delivery line to the pump, stock fuel filter [actually, the tighter FS19528 that filters better for the 24 valve engines], and stock mechanical transfer pump feeding that mighty P7100.

Dyno'ed Sickly at the local event with the Fords yesterday, 609 hp. #ad
Hmmm, I guess 12 valves aren't too impaired after all. I wonder what hp level will require upgrades to the fuel delivery system for the P7100 #ad

Good job Joe,
i guess those pressure spikes don't affect the western trucks like they do us boyz in the east???:rolleyes,:rolleyes

Out Standing Joe! Better than 100HP per liter. A quick question on getting that kind of power to the trans. What clutch are you using? Is it a light switch type (all or nothing) or did you get figured out how to transfer that kind of power in a tow friendly manner. I still need a clutch and am staying tuned in during development. Kudos also on the fine article in the TDR, very enjoyable.

Very nice Joe, will Sickly be able to be towed to Muncie? Hope to meet you in June.

Hey Joe you seemed to have avoided the question (How does she smoke). If I remember correctly Old Sickly was renamed Smokasorous or Old Smokly for short. Never the less a very impressive display of horsepower by all.
It sure was a lot of fun, can't wait to go back in May. Signature updated but won't last for long new parts are on there way.

Awwright, AwwwRIGHT. That's IT, Blair #ad

I warned you grrrr. You get a 20, no darn it, a 30 hp penalty for slurring Sickly's good name #ad
There was NO smoke coming out the front of Sickly during the dyno runs #ad

Adam, Lawrence said you aren't old enough yet for the Stage 6 injectors #ad
Seriously, they are stil experimental and you would need other stuff too, for them to work optimally.

The clutch is the same custom modified Sachs that won the Sachs vs. Dynojet contest (see my post on the product forum) a couple weeks ago.

Joe you are killing me (out the front) lol If I gave up 30 hp I wouldn't have any. My clutch is going in today and I'm not afraid to use drugs so you better look out. lol again Don't worry Joe I'm not planing on getting into any HP wars with you, we need something to tow back all the broken Rams with by the way HVAC, Adam and you are going.

Oh come on Joe I'm old enough #ad

I plan on adding bigger injector lines at the same time if that is what your refuring to. Come on JOE I wanna play to #ad
#ad

I'll be installing another extra turbo real soon to. #ad

Joe, tell us how your [award winning] Custom Motified Sach drives. Does it chatter? How bad does it chatter? No smoke no mirrors the truth!! Remember when or if you answer some people already know. Congrats on your H. P.
