Since I am completely ignorant of 12 valve fuel issues, I have a question for those owners.
I have changed to a 12 valve lift pump, I am considering modding my fuel lines in order to increase size and to remove the restrictions from the stock module elbow on forward.
So, here's the question part. What do 12 valve trucks use for a prefilter to the lift pump? Is it the same arrangement as the 24 valves? I don't know why there would be a difference or if there even is one. Just looking for some ideas.
I have seen the FASS stand pipe setup and basically it pulls fuel into the fass filters and the fuel filtering happens right there. I am just looking for a prefilter. Something to grab any heavy junk in the path of the pump. I am thinking 60- 100 micron. Of course, cleanable stainless mesh.
Any ideas?
Dave
