15/40 oil in 2022 cause engine damage?

Not much information to update.
Buddy took his truck to the dealer and got the “ cannot duplicate” the issue.
I told him to keep driving it and let the warranty cover anything if it breaks.

Yep run it and enjoy the truck, if something big happens bring it back either driving or on the hook.
