I don't know what happened to my last post on this. I can't seem to find it. Some one responded to that post and I was gonna PM them but now ..... so I'm putting it back on top.
Anyway, I had the opportunity to take a ride in Piers' truck a couple weeks back.
He was running a newly Piersified 160 P7100 pump that he has found some tricks for.
All I can say is GEEEEZZZ Loiuse, that thing rocks :--) :--)
At 3500 RPM steady, he nailed it, and my head snapped back against the seat all the way to 4000RPM. Absolutely amazing!!
Piers lugged it down to 1000 RPM (in 5th no less!) and then accel'd up to 3500 again,, no roughness, coughing or belching. Smooth as silk
It does not de-fuel all the way through to 4000 RPM and thats as far as the road would let us go.
The only smoke was at WOT low boost... . oh mama...
It seems that the 160 has been overlooked for potential. Piers has done some of his magic that has really made this pump cook.
I understand some others are trying to get their hands on it too... .
I kinda wish I had a 2nd Gen about now. .
disclaimer: not affiliated, associated, implicated, or paid in any way... just impressed as heck with results
Regards, Bob
