On average how much power will 215's add to a truck with a 160 pump with a centered #10 plate. 20-30hp? From what I've read DV's wouldnt be needed with the 215's but would some 181's help?
I agree the 370's are best bang for the buck but I'm trying to stick with the stock WH1C for a while. I think the 370's might be a little hot and smokey at 4700-5000' elevation where I live.
wow elevation makes that much of a differrence right now i struggle to hit 1400 (pre turbo) down the 1/4 mile. i am about to install 191 dv's so that will change real quick
Cummins4Life, I didn't dyno my truck immediatly after the injectors, but after all my work was completed. With a TST 6 plate, 18. 5* of timing and new 215's I made 309/751 at the rear wheels. I still have the WH1 turbo and straight stock exhaust. I don't go over 1000* at WOT unloaded.
Zach I gave my 300s a good run tonight and with my stock plate centered get very little smoke at WOT. They puff more off boost than the stock 215s but certainly not that bad. Once I dial things in I think I'm going to like them.
I am getting some blue smoke at light throttle off boost but I'm starting to think I have another issue going on that's causing it. Vaugh
