Are CARB emissions really going back in time

Cab vent X2

The EVIC on our '19 Ram 3500 popped up with the comment "Perform Service"
My code reader says:
"Air Suspension: Code 15E4-97 (1/1) Stored
Right Rear Spring Exhaust Component or System Operation Obstructed or Blocked"
I thought the ride was a bit harsh recently, which could be the result of an over-inflated air bag.
I successfully cycled the suspension back and forth from normal ride height to low ride height, however while it only took a few seconds to raise, it took closer to a minute to lower. This was consistent throughout several cycles up and down.

FWIW, I have not cleared the code.

Any thoughts on how to solve this or how to service the 'exhaust component' of the air system on the right rear?

if you can figure out where the system exhaust ( usually has some type of leveling valve where air exhausts from the leveling valve)
itself it might just be plugged with dirt, kinked or something like that.

Every vehicle I worked on for 40+ years had air suspension on all 4 corners
some also had lowering or raising functions at the drivers console.
one thing I can say about air suspension is it will always have more problems than old fashioned leaf springs
because if for no other reason it will eventually leak . I dont think they will go ten years without some sort of problem

The vent and the intake are the same, which is a hose with a filter on the end located between the cab and bed.

The system does a high pressure purge at each startup, presumably to clear moisture and debris from the system.

Since only one bag is reporting slow I would look for a kinked line between the airbag and control module. It could also be a bad solenoid in the control module.

In my experience, "Perform Service" means its time to change the CCV filter. I believe on 19's, that comes up in the mid 70,000 mile range. Is that where your mileage is?

I have not seen that message come up for diagnostic codes. I suspect it's two separate things, i.e. the Perform Service message is unrelated to the two codes you found and is merely the CCV reminder.

How do you clear the code after you replace the CCV filter?
