The fuel sylinoid if you want for testing can be removed or as suggested try the jumper wire from the batt to the pump , if you remove it there is a manual shut off on the pump and if your worried that lever wont work pull the intake hose off going to the turbo and have a 2x6 handy to cut the air supply off to kill it , Also which brings up anouther question have you pulled a part the air cleaner to make sure it is not full of crap ???
The air filter is fine, I have the turbo exposed and a went a head and ordered a new fuel solenoid just in case (it was only $20 plus I got a free Cummins decal, can't really turn that down) Is there a special way to get the solenoid off? Its a pain in the *** to get a wrench on it
