I have a 95 auto CC 2wd dually, its got a fair amount of bolt ons:

BHAF

4" straight exhaust

Guages

TST #6

9 quart trans pan with temp sender

Runs perfect, has 53K miles on it. The 47RH shifts great, I changed the fluid to ATF + 4 and added the deep pan, Mag-Hytec? I tow heavy and it does ok considering my big 5th trailer is no light weight. I could use a step up in power for the hills, my towing EGT is 900 to 1100 degrees. The trans is stock, I don't tow all the time maybe a few hundred miles per year. Would a DTT trans be the next step... Or would you guy's consider more engine mods with a stock trans if it was tight?

It wasn't long after I added my #6 plate that my tc started slipping. Spend the money on the trans and you will be one happy camper. Then, no matter what you tow or what mods you want to add, it's ok.
