1997 3500 12 valve.

Hydra-boost is leaking power steering fluid where it mates to the master cylinder.

Dodge dealer says hydra-boost unit is a discontinued part.

Anyone been through this before ?

Anyone know of a fix or rebuild kit ?

Go to your favorite search engine, I used Googl;e, and do a search, they are available, i found one at J. C. Whitney. I tried to buy a clamp for where the down pipe flanges up to the turbo exhaust and run into the same response from dealer. Hope this helps. bg PS I believe this same unit was used on other brands of trucks also. bg

Not an uncommon item. I replace them from time to time with reman units. Do a price comparison as I have found the discount houses are not always the cheapest.

I do business with Rock Auto and not saying it is a good source one has to be reminded of shipping and core return charges. Local parts suppliers have these units for less, shipping, etc.
