60 here

I ordered my 93 in 92, picked it up Nov. 92. Repainted it in 03 , no rust but no paint on hood and roof. Totaled March 06. Rebuilt and running once again. Now has 230,000 miles.

im 17. bought my 93 when i was 16. i cant even remeber how long ive been "in love" with the dodge cummins. the dodge cummins is one of the mains reasons thats made want to be a diesel mechanic years ago. im going to diesel/heavy equipment school next year and cant wait. ive vistited the school and walkin into that shop seeing Cummins ISX's, ISM's, cat c15's, detroit 60 series, mercedes, international 570's, dt466's. john deere motors everywhere also. i was like a fat kid in the candy shop.

i would put up a picture of my truck if i new how to. its a nice truck though i must say. i love the old body style, the simplicity of the motor is so awesome. and the dependability is hard to beat.

by the way, where can i find me more girls like melissa that are here down south. man a live, a girl that is that sold for cummins... . sheww

i no girls that drive powerchokes :) but if i could just find me one with a cummins, who understood our way of thinkin.

Careful what you wish for... . it just may happen!!!

I don't remember if I posted or voted on this before. Sorry I've been absent for a while. There's a lot going on at home and in life, but with the winter months coming, I'll be around a little more.

I've had mine for almost 10 years. I fell in love with the first gen trucks because a friend had one, it was turned up with a Banks intercooler and exhaust, and the first ride I took in it pinned me to the seat!

The second gen truck I have now is all right, it's nicer inside, but I'm gathering parts to restore that first gen sitting in the driveway. It's rebuild the front end / repair some body rust / redo the interior / paint. It's a good solid truck, and I'm kind of ready to get the show on the road.

Looks like an even spread of 1'st gen owners. 16 and up. Only had mine for 5 years. Taught my son how to drive a stick in the '92. Switched it over to an auto transmission recently. Will paint it in the spring. Got 166k on it. Motor has only 66k. Rear just rebuilt, new transmission, no rust. Should be fine for a long time. I only drive maybe once a week. At 52 it should last me till I'm done. Maybe I'll be able to reach the grandkids some bad habits in grandpa's hotrod pickup.

Was 59 when I bought my 1990 in Feb of 1990. Still have it with over 200K on it. My Oldest Grandson was using it to go to work about three weeks ago when he didn't stop and plowed into a new F150 With a tow hitch stuck out back. Now have the truck out by the shop waiting for me to recouperate from Sugergy. One of these days I have her up and running again.

Also Have a 1993 built in July of 93 club cab With auto slushamatic transmission.

Just enjoyed my 71 B/D 10/27 07.

31 and just bought my second 1st gen. never owned a car newer than 93 (except wifes) and don't ever plan on it if i could just find and endless supply of rust free cabs in vt.

33 and I love 1st gens. My father-in-laws 93 broke me in and I fell hard. The wife's 01 is a great truck... . but I was at home in my 90. Just like my gas burners, it's a fit... only better. Miss driving it so much I decided to use it to repower my crew cab when I go through it.
