I think Mr Sasquatch is sleeping or something. Should get something to make the cheesewhiz smell spread out more.

You know I tried that! I held a coupla cheesed crackers near the exhaust of the SS '13 ram in hopes that the quadruple turbos would help to distribute the cheesy aroma to Sasquatch land but I guess it didnt work.

Hmm... . maybe he's busy fighting off the borg. They've been trying to ASSimilate him for a while. :-laf:-laf:-laf

Yep. Sorry. I've had a little indigestion..... it's hard to pass those metal parts..... :{ The saying about a dog and a peach seed come to mind... ... . Every time I squat, sounds like someone dropped a wrench... ... ..... that's gonna suck when I have to mow.....

The Borg got too close to ASSimilating one of my tractors..... I ended up taking it back apart, eating those that objected, well, the ones that smelled like Cheese Whiz, anyway..... and now I'm back to reassembling it.....

Hmmm, maybe that's why they all smelled like cheese and diesel..... lovely combination!!! ... ... . making me hungry..... I wonder if I missed any of those.....

Welcome back Mr Sasquatch. You feeling better after that indigestion? Maybe a little pink pepto bismal will help.

I hope all that cheesewhiz didn't clog your colon. Not sure what vet you need to go to.

OH, hey, good to hear from you guys, too! The poem is pretty, good, too. I've got one I wrote a few back, I'm not sure where I put it... . not quite as pretty, but pretty funny... ... . if you like guns, Dodges, venison, and train horns, anyway... ... . my computer crashed ealier this year, hard drive sector contact, so I lost everything on it... . I've got a hard copy somewhere... .

I don't think my colon is stopped up... . I passed gas awhile ago, which smelled like gear oil (what do the Borg use for hydraulic fluid?!) and it sounded like someone threw a lugnut behind me..... hit the concrete and bounced around a few times... . hit the tin on the back wall and dented that..... no idea where it went. I've got a dent in the side of my '98, and suspect the same thing happened when I bent over and picked up that NV4500 and carried it out earlier... ..... not sure how to claim that on insurance... .

Aww, most vets are useless... they'll go screaming out the door whenever I come in... ... I go to a large animal vet up by Marietta, Ok. He's 72-3yrs old and seen just about all there is out there. We get along pretty good. Of course, I think he's just about blind, too... ...

The pink stuff is really kinda useless. If you really want some butt-putty, try some two-year aged cheddar!! Or Colby-Jack!! Eat a couple pounds of that, and you'll be good for winter!! You can hibernate with the bears and not worry about getting up in January!!

HH: I can easily eat a pound or more of cheese. Love those things, except the price.

If you find your poem, I'd like to read it! Sucks your CPU crashed.

Errr..... The borg tried to ASSimilate my '98. They put that dent there. Maybe the ins will believe that. Those nv4500 are fun to Pick up. I was able to get one up to about 4. 5 ft into the back of my truck which was on a hill. I think the EPA is looking for me as to what came
Out my ***.

HA!! Watch it!! The Borg will be putting a convertor and emissions system on you!!!! HA HA HA HA!!!! :-laf Can't have that going off in space on a confined air system!!!!

I went to Blumenthal's to exchange one Wed, and ended up picking up another at the wrecking yard, just gone through, for $850. New synchros, 5th shaft and gears, and seals. I wrote a check and had it loaded before they could think about it!! The wife asked me,"You're not gonna carry that are you?!?!"

"Umm, no... ... I'm telekinetic, I thought I'd just will it up under my truck into place... ... "

"Smart*ss!"

"Well,... . " as I pick it up, "I don't imagine it's gonna load itself!!" as I walk away with it!! She had a funny look on her face. I outweigh it around 10lbs or so..... Tried to load a transfer case while she wasn't looking, but thought better of it. I don't want to hurt this relationship..... this is the same place I got my '98 for $3500. I think I got an '01 with a new motor for $3500, too. Gotta call back and see after this week..... This guy makes me look like an ametuer!!! I bet he's got 30 or 40 in his FRONT yard..... the back yard is stacked 3 high... . probably close to 300 back there... . Oo.

You're right. Wouldn't be able to pass cheese if I had the emission system installed.

You went to Blumenthal? There's one near you?

How long does most nv4500 trannies usually last? I just saw a 1999 dodge that still has the original nv4500 with around 600,000 kms on it. He drives the truck everyday to work that's an hour there and back home. I can feel the transmission is looser than mine with 450,000 kms on my transmission.

Merry christmas to everyone that reads this post!

Shawn

Lmao! So the Borgs don't celebrate Christmas? If they did, what would they do? Probably ASSimilate christmas from us.

Shawn

Oh a Borg Christmas would be funny. I can hear it now... ...

" Here 4 of 12 I got you a spare head. "

"Oh thank you 795 of 173,385. I got you a spare arm and a infra-red sighting eye for Sasquatch hunting. "

Borg queen: "destroy 4 of 12. " "everyone back to your alcoves for re-ASSimilation. " "There will be no Christmas here, and that inefficient 4 of 12 is now spare parts for mentioning our new weapon for sighting that Sasquatch. "

Yep, Merry Christmas to all!! Even the Borg and the ACLU (if there is a difference?)..... I sent them several dozen Christmas cards again this year. I hope they have enough to put up for all their employees to see..... If not, maybe they'll get a fine for littering, or commit suicide because they can't recycle it all..... Maybe they'll send plenty of hate mail to the return address... ... :D

... ... . that'll only help 'em see me leaving with my prey. A top of the line genetic predator like myself makes it a point to not be seen... ... Hell, even news buzzards can't find me for an interview..... and they're part of the undead!! How're the Borg gonna get a hand up!??! Biology over technology, yep. I still can't get over how good they taste with that darn cheez whiz. That stuff will make anything taste good!!!!!!

And we won't talk about how Santa likes to threaten the reindeer with me..... he knows I'll leave 'em alone for the kid's sake, but they don't know that, and they do taste soooooo good..... "Keep pullin' Blitzen, or I'll let the Sasquatch have you!!!!!" ..... occassional footprints outside the stable help with morale. And add the fact that a close relative gets eaten pretty regular... ... ...

Blumenthal's is based in Oklahoma City, Ok, about 2hrs from my main shop. I usually make it up there 3-4 times a year in person, and they mail me stuff all the time.

The NV4500 record in my shop at the moment is 624k miles, in a '99 4x4 of a customers, which runs with a bale bed more than a trailer. Usually, I'll see a snychro go out or a seal, and I pull it to fix that, and end up with new bearings and synchros all around. Personally, I've only got around 245k on one that's not been touched. Dad and I are the only ones that have driven that truck, but it pulls a lot. It's pretty loose; more loose than the one in the '99, which tells me it doesn't get loaded as much as the one in the '97, which is going to have to come out in the near future, as the shift collars are wore, and it's seeping oil out the front seal. Not enough we have to add any regularly, but enough it gets wet when we run it hard... ...

HH: so those trannies got taken apart and new bearings installed or that transmission actually has 624k miles on everything original? My transmission is still mostly original with the exception of bearings, third gear and synchros.

That transmission has 624k miles on it, or someone pulled it overnight in the driveway, put it back, and polished the heads of the bolts... ... he's owned it since new, and beat the heck out of it. But I keep the oil changed in it for him, and it has an Eaton filter kit on it. The shifter is getting pretty loose feeling, and it jumps a little going into 3rd and reverse, so it's getting due..... It'll probably be a complete rebuild job. I found quite a bit of brass in it the last time I changed the filter, but right now, he's got to have it to feed and can't part with it until Spring. It's got cowl cracks like a '91 below the windshield, so it's on it's last leg..... started using oil this summer, too. We discussed my buying it earlier in the year... ... :D It's got a nice HydraBed bale bed on it... ... interesting belt driven pump above the alternator, run off a modified fan pulley of some sort... ...

How are you filtering the transmission fluid? Do you pump it through the filter, or just Genos garage style filter inside?
