Funny most girls spend a lot of money on themselves only to still get old with no return on investments whatsoever.

No children yet for me. Still looking for that someone that loves Dodge trucks as much as we do. Choices appears very limited.

I'll leave the hammer in the toolbox and leave my manhood alone. Lol!

Apparantly you, Bschwarzli knew what a frickin' girl's stilleto is#@$%!. If I had known, I would've put only hammer in the previous post. Now we're the laughing stock of all TDR chapters. :-laf:-laf:-laf

Ha! Now you know! :D

Hx35 turbo or not, I'm still gonna beat you're ol' goat to the finish line!:-laf

Only one thing you have that's bigger than what's in my goat is injectors. And it's not helping you. :p

!

HH - He is a mouthy one! I think we need to make this happen so he gets some good ol TX soot in his face! (I hear it tastes different than Canuk soot!)

Hmmm, okayyyyy... . but if Robert shows up wearing them, I'm not so sure I'm gonna hang around... ... but if not, as Doc Holiday says,"There! Now we can be friends!"

Sorry to disappoint you guys. I dont go that way. I am clumsy enough on flat feet! :-laf

Ummm, the problem they develop is children.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH **breath**** haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha! :-laf

Good one. :D

Luckily, you live in a cold climate, so you don't have to fight looking at things like that 9 months out of the year.....

Right... ... so when it is too damn cold to go outside, you have fixed everything you can fix inside, then you look at her... ... right. I see how your situation is so much better. ;)

Now you know why people like me have crew cabs to work on! Cheaper in the long run. :D

Ok. NOW I'm gonna have to make a weekend out of it. Gonna have to get this transmission going a little better in the '98, add some engine components, and let you see what MY trucks run like. I'd love to see what my '97 would do on a dyno at 55psi boost, but I can't have it broken. I was AWFUL tempted to take it to the little dirt pull they had a few weeks ago... ... but if it broke, then I've gotta fix the ball joints in the '03 or the headliner in the '93..... I know most of the trucks that went down there, so I know I could have put a show on for 'em!!

I was looking at the new TDR yesterday, when I took a break, and I was eyeballing the May Madness form, wondering if I could make it..... are you guys gonna try to go? Pahrump is 1235 miles, Ontario 1525. Not much difference after the first 1,000 or so miles..... :D

Hey, you guys don't want a girl that's got a nice truck(or even an old worn out one)!! She'll have you working on it, and when it's broke, she'll be driving yours!!! HA!!! :-laf Most are high maintenance, a good one is hard to find, and few and far between!!! I went through a lot to find mine!! And she was just too good to pass up!! She made more money than I did most of the time, which I thought was great. Her worst habit used to be her horses..... she rode until she was 7 months pregnant..... only gave it up when she couldn't get on anymore!!! Did I mention she's got a '97, with Gear Vendor?

Well done! God bless the Texas women!! :)

Not ready for the drive to NV yet. I did that drive last fall. Long haul. Next round will be the crew cab. Then we will talk. :D

Good lord, I get busy for a day and here you all go talkin babies and high heels! :D. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

I once found a red headed girl that could run the overhead on an ISX. I chased her so long she wore down and finally said yes! I am a very lucky SOB.

Sposed to be the coldest night so far this fall a brisk 27 degrees. That outta stir up the northern brethren.

I'll take your word for it..... the SOB part that is... . :D (sorry, couldn't help it... . :-laf)

27*Farenhiet for those canucks!! That makes my neck swell... . I get up in the morning and rub my head on the bathroom door... . drives my wife crazy. I keep sniffing in her direction and curling my lip... ... then smiling..... Almost got shot the other night!!! :D She does love her ChromePlated Baby Eagle!!

Made a good run last night. Got a big 'ol coon. He was on top of my KW, so I had to run him off before I could give 'im the ol' Copper Jacket Injection!! Big booger, too!! Weighed close to 40lbs!!! I could barely wrap my sasquatch hands around his rear foot!!! These short days let me get some sleep, and then I get energetic, which is bad for the local varmints!!!

Hmmm. Seems everyone here hates the cold. I blow snow for several hours in a open platform tractor even in -27*c. :-laf:-laf

HHhuntitall: I thought you were a sasquash, seems you're more of a horse as to why you almost got shot for sniffing your wife. Nice goat your wife has. May Madness would be an intersting trip. Likely be going myself if I decide to go, as Bschwarzli doesn't have any spare fuel tanks to make the trip:-laf. Your Surgeon XL monster gun shot Robert's tank in Ontario when you fired from Texas. Great shootin' there!:D

Nyoest: good for you on chasing that woman down.

Might have a good possibility of getting my hands on either a Super B singal turbo or HHT 66mm sled turbo. My buddy is upgrading to a possible 83mm inducer size for next year. So my choices are either 550 rwhp or 830 rwhp. Either wipes the competition easy. :-laf:-laf

Well, I don't really hate it, it's more of a deep loathing or overall disgust. It's never gotten that cold here, I don't think, but when it gets cold and stays cold, I end up with a chainsaw cutting ice in the stockponds for the cows to get water, and an axe on the water troughs for the horses and whatever I have in the pens. I think I have a right to dislike the cold... . If I had to run a snowblower, then I might HATE the cold. I'd have to move if I had to run a snowblower.

Oh, collateral damage, sorry Robert. Poacher moved on one of those long distance, hill shots.

Nyoest: good for you on chasing that woman down.
I'd congratulate you, but I'm sure you got enough knots on your head to feel lucky. Bad thing about a good woman, they inspire you to be better, and then, if you don't make it, kick you in the obama to make you..... ain't love grand?!?

With ease? Riiiiiiggggghhhhhhht... ... . now it's on!!

HHhuntitall: I hear Alaska is a good place to move to. Then you can drive up and down the Dalton Highway. Plenty of areas to use the Surgeon XL monster without worrying about shooting someone's fuel tank. Be plenty of trees, moose, deer etc. :-laf

I thought you said several or many post ago that making power with a Cummins is easy, reliable and doesn't cost a fortune?:D

I don't hate the cold. I hate the things associated with the cold. The aforementioned chopping ice on stock tanks, snow, plugging trucks in, gelled fuel, snow, wet feet, ice, doors frozen shut, and snow.

What is may madness? Always heard of it but never paid any attention.

ok well im in real trouble then. the girl ive been chasing after just bought an 08 ford f 450 for pulling her 4 horse gn. its also her daily driver. not sure what i am thinking, grew up with horse women, i know they are all crazy and here i am trying to catch one.

as least i dont have to worry about her driving mine for the moment. she cant drive a stick... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... yet. she is getting me to teach her though, ill have to watch out then.

:eek: Surely you Jest?!?!? It is the brainchild of Joe Donnelly, a good time event where you can run on the dyno, meet with guys from Cummins and many, many other vendors, drag race, and several dinners and technical seminars. I went out to Vegas once and got to swing by for a little while, and supposedely, it's wayyyy larger than it was back then(10-11 years ago?)... ... I didn't run my truck, but it was a good time. I had to leave early. There was way more to see than I could take in in one day..... It's now moved to Pahrump, NV, look on page 116 of the current TDR. May Madness 2011 (April 25 - May 1) - Pahrump, NV

I have no problems using any rifles. My nearest neighbor in Denton County is barely within range of the large bores..... :D I've got a 400yd range literally out the back door, and just behind my combine shed, I've got a 400, 750, and 1450yd berms going up into the North pasture. Life's good in the South. Just more LARGE game up there... ... . but when the snow begins to fall, you can bet I'm like an ol' skunk... ... . "I've had enough of this stinkin' place!!!!" Make like a gaggle of geese and get the flock out of here!!! Make like a baby and head out!!!

I have not problems making any power out of my diesels. I was referring as to how easy you THINK you can wipe up the competition..... Come get some!!

Oh, poor man. You're lost. Haven't you learned that those can chasers never actually catch the barrels?!?! Well, don't teach her too quick!!! Hopefully, she's got a good job to support her habit!! :D

ok your living my dream, 1000+ yd range from the back porch would be great. im thinking about setting up my place in northern nevada, but i prefer cold, ice, and snow.

i understand your being from texas you would assume its a barrell racer. actually she is a show jumper (english rider), her dream though besides making money with horses (not possible) is to have her own jumper AND her own barrel pony. im really in trouble, thankfully my family has been in those sorts of things for a long time and i have connections that make it easier. also a good thing im working at getting a job that makes loads of money. that way i can afford her. and by the way, no she doesnt have a good job, she works at starbucks for 9 bucks an hour. i know im in trouble. :-laf

Yep. Sorry, I ASSumed too much!! At least she has some class(riding English) AND a job!! :-laf ... . and yep, she's dreaming to make money on horses!! I've been raising, breaking, and selling my own ranch horses for over 15 years, and I've never made any profit!! I've sold some for well over $15k, but still never managed to make any money... ... :{ And the best ones I never sold!! Most either got crippled or killed by some freak accident! I've just about lost the heart to start a good one anymore..... and I've got some getting older, so I really need to start 2-3 good ones..... I've got two right now that are green broke 6yr olds. Kinda sad. One can be REALLY good, the other is just a work horse. Kinda dumb, but stout and gentle. I just can't make myself get on 'em and finish 'em.

The shooting range is an obsession. Dad and I both have it, so it works out good for both of us. I've got an old Ford van with a utility box behind the combine shed that we use for a shooting rest, which is nice when it's drizzling or really cold. We shoot out the back door. I was gonna part it out, but it got confiscated... . :-laf I use the 400yd out the back door for load developement and accuracy testing. Sometimes, it's hard to tell which load is better at 100yds, so we go to 400 to really test it. When one load shoots 1. 5" groups, and the other shoots 2", then you know which to go with. Also, it helps calculate "actual" ballistics, instead of fully calculated, which is often off due to some manufacturers being liberal in their measurements, and poor quality control... ... . of course, there's always problems... . like when the horses want to play with the target.....

(oh, and let me add, I went through hell for 9 years to get these places paid for. Careful what you wish for!!! ;) )

HHhuntitall: I'm sure you're ready for the real breaking in time, once your 6 year olds grow into teenagers. Pants half-way down, hats cocked over, attitude to boot. Then comes the boyfriends/girlfriends. :-laf:-laf

I have several friends that are parents to teenagers that are also friends of mine as well. Then to watch them both go at it over something! The younger friends do have some good in them, they're buying Dodge diesels now and some are planning for those trucks once they get their licenses after spending time with me and my old faithful goat.

What's 1000 yards when your gun just shot over 2000+miles and ruptured Bschwarzli's tank?:-laf:-laf

The May Madness event is starting to get my interest going. No interest in Las Vegas casinos though.

Mhannink: Where are you from if you like cold and snow?
