Well... ... ... ... ... . just got back from my trip to Vegas to attend the MATS. Picked up the "next" project.

Took the truck bone stock, only changed the Borgeson.

Will calculate mileage and post later. First impressions, the truck did well, but I was a little concerned about the lack of HP on the grades, especially coming through Idaho and Montana.

The next trip, I'll have the turbo and injectors added. Hopefully can find someone to do the transmission as well. Have the DTT components.

Also found the enclosed 72 crew cab in the same yard and bought it for 700 dollars. One owner truck with a 360. Owner had it streched an extra 30 inches to accommodate the camper. It's a W200, but it appears the rear diff is beefier than stock.

Is that the truck you flew to Oakland to get? I had to fly to Chicago to get mine. I think we past each other in the air. :-laf

Yup

Hey Rebel... ... ... ... ... ..... that's the one. Why the heck would would you go to the mid-west to buy a truck????? Especially with all of the rust free stuff you have in your state. :--)

The heck with that crew cab, the W350 is sweet!

The old stationwagons are making a comeback, It is probably worth a lot more now than it sold for new.

To be honest, I like all three!

Glen

Agree

Glen... ... ... ... ..... Thanks for the compliment. I got a really good deal on the W350. The wagon cost me 500 bucks but is more of a project than I thought. I'm not sure why I bought the 72 crew probabaly cuz' I got a problem. Here's another pic from the front.

I saw it on Fleabay and the bid was low. It was an impulse purchase. Plus I looked and looked but couldn't find stuff here. But I have an offer on a 93 3/4 ton club 4X4 5 speed right now. $2000. 00 And she's thinking it over. :D

Rebel

Hey Rebel... ... ... ..... that would be a pretty good price for a 93. How much and what did you buy off "fleabay"?

Brian:

I bought the truck like this and it had the bumper/winch on it. I don't know what it is, it has no markings or labels. I have the invoice from the P/O and it doesn't identify what make it is. Some members (Pastor Bob) I think has something similiar and he said his was a Warn. (Don't quote me on this)

I have the same problem or sickness as my wife calls it, however when I parted with a few old "obsolete" clunkers to put a healthy down$ on her new Hemi-magnum I was a financial genius. That hdtop wgn is cool, 63-64?, Does it have the square wheel? neat car. Where were all these things at and are there anymore?

Anymore

Hey Sg... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . When I first found the yard three years ago they had 14 vehicles but they have been whittled down to a couple. There was a clean mid 70s half ton left. Something about a California model... ... ... . never heard of it.
