I agree . I love the smell of Klotz in the morning. Back in the old sled racing days, we also ran Blendzall and Union Carbide synthetic. They all smell great.

Have you ever tried to burn non-detergent motor oil? It gums things up. While what you say makes sence, in practice, the opposite is true... high detergent oils work better than non-detergents. Steve Keim
TowPro said:this is way to much! I only run around 16oz per 5 gallons of fuel in a real 2 stroke. Guys on the VW list have been running this for a while. I think they found the lowest ratio that still gave them good performance was like 3oz per 10 gallons.

I use 24 oz 2-stroke oil with 4 oz Power Service Diesel Kleen for every 5 gal of fuel. My kitty ain't dead yet. I drive a few hundred miles daily and occasionally run her hard to blow out carbon. No smoke just bumper soot.

I filled up yesterday for the sixth time since I started using the two cycle oil and I have seen an average of 1. 5 mpg increase in my mileage. I was going to hold off on the oil this time just to see if it really was increasing my mpg's but I just did not want to chance it, it's been doing so well.

In fact cummins made a unit to put on interstate trucks that automatically added a little fresh oil periodicaly and pulled the same amount out and put it into the fuel tank.
Not sure if they still make this unit or not.
Seems to me newer fuel systems might not be compatable.
