20 year class reunion tonite = Butterflies in stomach

I was supposed to have my 10th reunion this year, but no one planned it. Oh well, I keep in touch with some old friends anyway

Did 10, 15, 20 and just now the 30th. All were fun. I just don't understand why everyone else aged except for me.

I didn't go to my 5th or 10th. I don't want to give anyone the satisfaction of thinking I care to relive HS.



Maybe I'll go to the 40th. That might be interesting.

The first one I went to, 5 year was a drunken brawl, swore I would not go to another. This year was my 50th [ yes I am an old fart] and there is better than 50% still alive. Some I did not recogize, others They had not changed a bit, some had mellowed with age like old wine, better lookin women than when still in school.

The reason I went was my wife said I think you should go, you still have all your hair and no gray showing yet, a little paunchy but after this many years who isn't. It was a great feeling to see all who attended, and renew old aquantences, some had there booz but not like my first. The food was good but they ran a little short WHY? when you get older you eat less. :-laf

Here's the lowdown....

I don't expect anybody to really read this indepth.



1. ) I found it to be a strong night emotionally. I am sort of depressed today thinking about it. Tough to explain.



2. ) I thought 99% of the women looked very good for 43 years old. I was very surprised. Everybody at the reunion is basically is the same age.



3. ) I did not make eye contact or speak to any of the girls I had asked out in H. S and got shot down. :-laf



4. ) Many people I talked to said they were also "high" alot or most of the time during H. S. I was not alone. :-laf



5. ) 13 people on the In Memoriam list. Almost everybody died from a drug overdose. I was shocked to see 1 girl I knew recently added to the list. Nobody knew anything about her.

i never actually graduated high school at my school. i dropped out last year, and took night school to get my last needed credit to graduate, so i missed out on the HS graduation experience [good or bad???] i did graduate college, but there were only 12 or so who actually graduated from my program



still got ~4 years until a 10year reunion happens [if it does]

I never went to my 5th or 10th because I never even heard about them. I did hear about the 20th but never went. I think 30 is next year. I have no idea if they are having one or not. Not sure if I would even go. I lived on the edge of 3 different school districts out in the country, but all my friends went to catholic school and I still see most of them. I did go to a girl friends reunion around 20 years ago at one of the other school districts I lived near, everybody was so fake trying to impress each other, nothing but BS.

Wow, this is an old thread.

I didnt go to any reunions since the last one I wrote about.

I see a lot of people I went to school with around here.

What I've observed:

1 The jerks are still jerks.

2 The jocks are fatter than I am, and I've never exersized a day in my life.

3 The sluts are showing high milage and "out of warranty" conditions. :-laf

4 I married the "best looking girl".

5 One of my old GF's went into the "dancing" business, then later "movies". :-laf I never did see her, but I'd bet she's quite a sight by now. (see # 3)

Like to hit that for ol times... ... ... just kidding.

I never had problems getting a GF. As long as they could stand my partying.

I went to my 10th and 20th. It's kinda hard because they're in PA and I'm in NV now. But I had a lot of fun. Looking forward to 25 next year. Never did a college one, don't even know if they do them.

I went to my 10th and my wifes 10th. We're both from small towns where everybody knows each other and everybody gets along. We had a blast at both and plan on attending the 20 year reunions.

Is it just me, or are HS girls total knockouts right now?? Is there something different in the water?? They didn't grow 'em like that 20 years ago.
