I have the repair from hell. Short of the story, my rearend is being swapped out with another dana 80 from a 2000 dodge. Only difference is I am going from 3. 54 to 4. 10, Brakes are 12" on the old one 13" on the new one. Emergency brake won't hook up according to the repair guy. He needs to get the rest of the emergency parts off the truck to make the emgy. brake hook up. According to him you have to drop the fuel tank. Because I have been sitting in a motel all week and he tells me he doesn't work weekends, I told him I will do the emergency brake myself when I get home just get me the parts. Has anyone seen these two units different? Also what am I in for with this fix?
