Finally got the straight story on my truck. (Matt Dougherty called me back. )Right rear quad cab door is being replaced due to damage sustained in the palnt. If I do not like the repair they will either make a settlement or replace it again.
I was told that the factory will routinely make repairs up to $500 without disclosing the repair. UNLESS THE CUSTOMER CATCHES THE REPAIR. This is normal proceedure.

The stories the 800 number people were telling were completely false. IE in "warranty checks, quality control check, emissions checks, etc... . " The truck never was pulled off for checking or anything else it was in their body repair shop. They were stalling for the repair to be completed.

There must be some reason why a customer cannot be told the truth when an order is delayed, this is one of them. Good ole BUYER BEWARE attitude.

Some of you comment about my attitude, this is a reason I take a defensive\negative attitude about everything DC does or says and sometime carries over until I calm down.
New Ship date: 8/10 no later than 8/11 maybe, perhaps, or if they feel like it don't worry the customer will wait.
