I got the same responce as Mad Max. I ordered 8/26 and my status is BD on 8/29. Anyone know anything about the status of the 6 speed transmissions?

Ordered on 8-8-00 (actual date on VON sheet). Called today and it is B? (BG probably) but is not scheduled yet. Call back next week. I did check on the DEE, and yes, as of today it is on restriction. Until that changes, I doubt if I will see a build date issued.

E-Brake goes on @ delivery time, Bed comes off and will be replaced by a custom aluminum work body / flat bed. Ordered on 03-28-00. Re-ordered on 08-08-00 (at least I got a VON already the second time)

Mine was first ordered in early June. The order was cancelled by DC and had to be reordered in early July. Current status is KZ. Hope it is worth the wait. Looks like the wait on new orders has increased even futher. Hopefully I will have it by mid September. aint the wait great!!!

Sorry... I put my first post in the wrong spot(a real sign of a "newbie"). I ordered on 3AUG00 and a check with DC today indicated that I'm still in restriction for the six speed and DRW. I was told to check back in one week. Four weeks and waiting !!!!

Mick2500 Why dont you just show up here in Phoenix and pick it up. You could have a little break in run on the way home. Leave Phx. and head to Superior then down to Mamoth to Orical then into Tuscon. Then change the oil. Sounds like a plan.

Back on page 3 of this thread I posted a rather caustic note about the D-C 800# personell, I Must say in all fairness that My last couple of experiences with them have been a complete and pleasant change. The Ladies I have spoken with have been polite,professional and willing to provide the requested information, in fact they have been more helpfull than my dealer. I feel I need to say this in fairness to them. #ad


Last week (Aug) I was told BX with a release for scheduling "the first week of next month", I called this morn. (Sept) and was told C, just like they said.

Now for a question: Have the rest of You Club Members, present & past found the 800# order status reports to be generally accurate and truthful?

I hate to ask a question like this, but, I have encountered people in the past that will tell You what You want to hear, rather than the way it really is. #ad

Samscov, I must say that when I called they were just as you described. I only called 3 times after my order was accepted and they were professional and courteous each time. The info that they provided was accurate. Maybe I was just lucky.

My truck arrived in Peenix this morning at 0300 local time. It got there 1:30 early according to the UPRR web site.
That was really neat tracking my railcar from St. Louis to Peenix. It really aggravated me that it passed within a 1/4 mile of where I'm sitting right now at work. #ad

Now we'll see how fast it makes the 110 mile trip from the Industry Yard in Peenix to Tucson. #ad
