Sounds to me like everone is getting pretty good mileage! Considering the size, weight, etc... . of the trucks we're driving! I too have a 2001-2500-swb-4x4,auto 3. 54 gears w/ 5000 miles on it. My first few tanks of fuel I was getting about 16. 5 to 17 mpg, 50/50 (intown/highway) Please note, all fuel was and is still being purchased at the same station, and I've been driving very respectfully trying to get the most mileage possible! After those first few tanks my mileage has decreased to 13. 8 and no more than 14. 5!!!!!! I too need help and or advise, will mine increase after 15,000 or just level off at 14mpg? Anyway it's still better than my old 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4,(gasser) which averaged 7 mpg!
