Well, I finally got the new pics I took the middle of june scanned in, but now I can't get them to post. I will e-mail them to Fritz and ask him to post them. The photo's are of a White 1/2 ton 2X4 Sport. The Sport is alot better looking than the SLT's that I have seen photo's of. Enjoy if I can get this computer to email them so they can get posted... ...

2002

From the pictures I have seen I have to give it a thumbs down. Looks pretty ugly. Looks like a Ford from the front if you eliminate the cross bars in the grill. I'll have to see one for real before I make a final judgement. Tom

these pics

this bunch of pics looks alot better than some others i've seen.

now don't tell anyone or let this get out, but the new style maybe, just maybe, only a little tho', be growing on me. (still gotta get used to the rake of the windshiel)

Those assembly line shots are awesome... . I re-sent the photo's to fritz so hopefully this time they went thru. .

I'll keep my 97. I hate to say it but the new one looks like a grouper out of water gasping for air.

Could they make the center grille band any wider !! What the hell were they thinking, that grille will never grow on me!! Put a big round bullet nose cone in the center and it reminds me of the edsel/studabaker era. The rest of the truck might grow on me.

Thnaks Fritz for getting my photo's posted. The other shots that are linked and on Dave Fritz's site are awesome. I can't wait to order my new 25004X4 Cummins, Auto, 4. 10 gears with limited slip ,Black, Sport, Probobly with Leather this time, as long as they make the rear seat leather this time instead of the current vinyl. Too bad I have another year to wait:( :(

:( I'm not so sure I like the new body style. I wonder if the 2500 & 3500 will have a slightly different style as the ford line does. I will wait until the last date I can order the old body style to see if there are any pictures of the new. I don't think that rear door is all that bigger to be called a four door. OW I'm sure there will be some late models out there after trade.

Sorry jeepit, The 2003 2500 and 3500 will look identicle, as they will share the same body, as the current rams do. Sorry to disapoint you.....

Actually, ... from everything I've heard, the 2003 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks will be redesigned from what is currently offered, and they will have a different body style than the Ram 1500 redesign for 2002.

MoparToYou

Well Dodge has been advertising "Different". DC wins the "Different" battle for sure.

First thought, looks like GM in the rear. And who knows what the heck the front looks like... ... ... ... ... "Different".

I kinda like it though. Wonder what the non sport ed. will look like?

Back seat looks to be still the smallest compared to Ford and GM, but at least it looks comfortable.

Have to see one up close. Interior looks nice.

No plans to get rid of my 99' Still an awesome truck!

UGH!!!!!

Man, Gag me with a fork! That thing ain't ugly it be fugly. I don't know if it'll ever "grow" on me:confused:

I agree w/tulsa618 Chevy s-10 + Furd front = no-mopar. . . it's a sad day . . . it looks like a "chev fo par":( Hopefully I'm not offending anyone with my opinion. But, I guess after all it's still a Dodge @ heart:)

It looks like the short bed got even shorter. What is up with that? Will they chop length off of the long bed as well??? I hope not. I need the full 8 foot bed on a pickup (and sometimes more). I guy at work is shopping around for a new truck and debating if he should wait for the new dodge body style on the 3500s in 2003. He was told by the dealer that DC is shortening the bed to make room for the cab - even on the long bed trucks. If that is the case, DC is making a bad mistake.

Des,

Only the short bed got shortened by 3". The long bed is still suppossed to be a full 8 feet. From what I was told, the shortened short bed would not affect too bad people that buy short beds, but the long beds are used by too many contractors. I have seen one long bed at CTC, Chrysler Tech Center, in Auburn Hills, when I was up snooping around trying to see any of the new trucks. I saw it thru a fence, but the bed looked to be a full 8 ft.
