I haven;t gotten a price yet, fiberglass has went up with gas prices and I think this hood will come with the air filter and box. I will try to keep the price down as much as I can. The good thing is that the hood is smaller then the 2 gen hood.

I like this design better than the 2nd gen design. Have you considered making an underhood air box assembly specifically for thw new SRT-10 hood? Seems like you could modify your design for your hood and offer you another product that might have a greater market potential.



Just a thought.

Because of the way they make stock hoods it would be very hard to get every thing to hooked up. I haven;t seen the underside of that hood to be sure though.

The hood will be ready the middle of next month. I will put a post on to let everyone know.

I think what spool-up wants to know is if your wife has a sister As long as I have been doing these hood it is surprising how many wifes do like the hoods.

Ya that the prototype on Jones truck, I had to build a re directional dome on the top of the hood because the 3 gen hood are not as thick. It will probably take a little to get use to it.

So your saying this hood with the opening in the middle is where the air is drawn in for both the intercooler and the air intake?? Unlike the 2nd genns that have a seperate air inlet for each.

I must agree about people putting on hoods with fake air ducts. I once saw a truck with one and when I asked if it was functonal he said no---after that It just looked rediculas. This air bullydog hood is NO faker hood That's what makes it cool in more ways than one!

I no longer make a aft. cooler on the drivers side even on the 2 gen hood the air entering the hood a goes to the air box. Air bulldog hoods are specifically made for Dodge diesels

I am very fortunate in that my wife and I have only been married to each other... . August will be 33 years that we have been married... . they said it would not last because she was 18 and I was 21... . I truely believe I have the best wife in the world. We both pretty well get what we want, because we've worked hard all our lives. Life is good.

You know that this hood w/ functional air will force me to do some exhaust work..... lol.....
