Am I the only one that likes the new CTD badge in Steve's photo's?

As soon as I can get it as a spare part, I think I'll get one for my 2001's tailgate.

That Cummins Badge sure would look good on my Snap On tool box, let alone my 2001 Dodge!! Prefer the Cummins Diesel over a Mercedes Benz Diesel anyday!

I also think one would look good on the tailgate. How are they going to badge the Hemi's? If DC puts the Hemi logo in the same place as the Cummins logo, it will be hard to tell them apart from a distance. Ford did this with the first Superduties. Owners complained, and the Poserstroke door badge was born.

I agree with you;) , but I think it would better on my Snap-on Tool box:-laf.

I want, I want, I want one:D :D

My father works at the fenton , mo plant that will be building these trucks. Actually they've already ran a few pilots through already. The ones they're doing now are termed "light duty" 3/4 tons because {get this} they're putting v-6's in them !??

About the emblems, i've told him to keep an eye out for them at the plant and the hemi badge if he sees them.

One other thing... . they've got a mercedes diesel engine sitting at the plant somewhere. Maybe another pilot truck to compare it with the cummins ?????

I like the new Chrome emblems that are on the 1500's now. there is one that says dodge and another with 4x4 on it. they stick out a little and are chrome.

i thought about retro'n some on my truck.

the DODGE and 4X4 stickers were the second and third things to come off my truck when it was brought home

the dealer's logo was first :D

I want to put the CTD badges in the same place depicted in the pics. I agree one would look good on my tool box at work too.....

The issue before last i think hilights a truck in europe that was fitted with the mercedez diesel.

Even if the new Cummins Badge and the Hemi badge are in the same place you should be able to tell them apart pretty easy by the exhaust pipe alone, (and I'm hoping sound as well!) Also, unlike the Found On Road Dead badges which were both V8's, these badges will be more distinctive. But I think the real problem is telling a 3500SRW and 2500 apart, especially if the owner removes those badges! Just my $0. 02!
