New to this board, but anxious to hear all the answers that come from the experiences on here. My 2003 (109,000 miles) has been in the shop for going on 2 months now! The Local Dodge dealer took the first shot at it and missed of course. Now it has been at a shop that was suppose to be the best around for nearly 7 weeks. You can hit it with starting fluid and it will pop right off and run. Doesn't seem to have any significant power lose anywhere once it's running. But if you shut it off and try to start it within 5 minutes after that it might crank for two minutes or it might not ever start. If you shut it off and immediately try to re-start the truck it still has an extended crank time (maybe 15-20 seconds) before it will start.
The Dodge dealer replaced both sensors on the rail saying that my edge EZ had shorted them both out. The box has been on for over 60,000 miles without any problems before this.
The local mechanic has changed the fuel actuator and we even went ahead and changed the lift pump. When he has it hooked on the scanner it shows no codes and all pressures are good.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm about out of patience and money lol.
