Hello all-
I am brand new to this forum. I just got the email that my subscription is activated. After months of lurking on this site absorbing gobbs of info, I am now a member. I am coming to realize how valuable this site is to those who love Dodge diesel pickups. I have grown up with my dad having many of them, and I now have one of my own.
As you can see in my signature, I have a 2WD truck. As most of you know, the 2WD Dodge trucks tend to mimic the stink bug stance, with the back end appearing high in the air. I believe it is actually b/c the front sits so low. So I would like to put a leveling kit on the truck. Is 1. 5" or 2" the way to go. I have seen some on eBay for as little as $80. I believe this kit was from Fat Bobs Garage.
Fat Bob's Garage: Dodge Ram 2" Front Lift Kit 2WD 1994-2007
I have also heard good things about Daystar kits. Does anyone have a recommendation for or against these or any other kits? I also know I need to have an alignment done once installed... any other pointers or necessary additions with such a kit?
I greatly appreciate your input. I am looking forward to being part of this forum and huge family.
Jared
