This does not affect the strapping that is done on GM front end's does it? Matt

Stewart,

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but here goes:

"STOCK APPEARING TURBO"

????

Does this mean it can be a modified turbo but be stock looking?

We Worded That Way Because Its Hard To Tell If Anything Internal Has Been Changed , Ie . . Wheels Being Changed On Ferds & Chebys , And Also A Modified 35 On A Dodge Is Hard To Tell. We Intend On This Being A Stock Turbo Class, But Cheaters Also Find A Way To Cheat No Matter What, You Know That For Your Self.

Looks like you guys have problems with the duramax boys. Why is it not a rule in the stock class but it is in the super-street? You do know that the only reason gm people strap their front end is to keep the tires from toeing in and causing carnage, what is the problem with that. Your comment about "If Its Not Strapped Down Like That From The Factory", yet you can block the rear suspension according to your rules, if your going for a factory setup i dont think i have seen any trucks with blocked suspension come off the show room floor. Matt

It ain't a problem. The Straping on a duramax is the steering arm to keep the tie rods from pushing it up and letting the tires toe in. It has nothing to do with limiting suspension. So It doesn't look to be against the rules.

Is there a place down there in Kentucky to get cheap custom exhaust housings to allow big singles without an adapter plate that I am missing out on? If I can't find the place I spose quite a few people won't be making it down because I know I for one don't have an extra couple grand to get a custom exhaust housing made to bolt to a stock pattern. Some do have the money and well I guess this is the class they build their trucks for.

Basicly there is no place in standford for big single pullers and street twin pullers. Either got to have a little single or an open truck.

And I really liked that place, the female senery was quite nice.

Why not limit the turbos by wheel size rather than (STOCK APPEARING TURBO'S or must bolt directly to manifold no adapter plates). I have a Cummins but the Powerstrokes and D-maxs don't have many options under

those rules.

The Strapping Of The Front End Is Covered In The Stock Rules , It Says Original Style Oem Front And Rear Suspension. As For The Turbo Rule These Rules Were Made Bythe Pullers , I Think We Have One Of The Best Pulls Going , And You Can Still Come Down And Pull With Us , After All Its Just For Fun And The Fans.

Exhaust

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anything about cross bolts in the down pipes or whatever people run. Also looks like the stack through the hood will be ok in the Super Street. Good job on the rules, they sound good to me, sorry matt and kyle about the strapping.

Jeremy

I do believe Stewert posted the date that people could go down and voice their opinions. I tried getting the adapter plate passed and did for about 15 minutes until one or two started whining then the rule was reversed

Sorry kyle i tried.

I know i will still be going there to pull
