I am going to order a rail press, and a fuel press gauges, on the first, at least I'll have them, and I can eliminate that in the future.

Ok I spun loose the filter on the air dog, got plenty of fuel all over the driveway. Next I cracked the closest injector line, got fuel but not spraying out like I believe high pressure should. Next I cracked open the 4 th line back no fuel, or just a dribble. Now I am second guessing my self. But I did at one time get a rail pressure to high code. Going to call industrial injection.

Got the new cp3, from II 33% over, don't want to brake anything but Dang that thing don't want to seat. Any suggestions, oh got the pressure gauges in as well

That is not a valid test.the cp3 is a hi pressure-low volumn pump cracking a line will prove nothing and if it were running has a potential to inject fuelminto your skin

Thanks, but now I need to get the new pump on the truck, I think it's the O-ring that I got to get past, but trying to push the pump in to seat, I guess I'll have to gently pry it on.

Any chance it could be the transfer pump or lift pump, if that's what you have? My transfer pump went out several years ago and my symptoms were exactly what you describe.

Ok got some help from my Son, was able to push the pump on. Got everything hooked up and drum roll.... No start. But Hey got new gauges, and new cp3, going to need anyway. Going to put new cables on next. The no code thing really has me thrown for a loop. Now I can see the lift pump pressure, 18 psi. No rail pressure when I turn it over though. I don't know if that should show or not. Going to go over the wiring harness again. The truck just lost power and quit, no codes.

Try some type of starting fluid to see if it will start and run, then you will have a good idea where to go next, injectors.

Oh, and take the water meth system off and throw it far away. You might want to disconnect it also to make sure it isn't the problem.

Took all the grounds off, putting military ends on the battery termanls. Found some dirty ends, but I don't think this is going to fix it.

Changed ignition switch, it was burnt. Still won't start but it feels better. Loaded on a flat bed off to see a specialist.

Ok specialist says new injectors, so BBI, or BD, or.......... I think I want BBI but price is the factor they are 3500, I have to look at all my options.

Well when I started this one of the first things I did was check the oil. The specialist pulled the dipstick and oil level is now high, I think that maybe my reman injectors, we're week, then the new cp3 with the rail plug maybe craked the nozzle.

Did he put a rail pressure gauge on to see cranking PSI . Guess making oil pretty evident . Cross tubes retorque?
