Where is the filler? On this one the tank and filler are on the drivers side! Crawled all under the thing, saw the lines where they go up into the trans tunnel and don't see a filter anywhere!

Ok I should be sleeping, but I just jacked up the Tahoe and took some pictures. The filter is on the drivers side, on the frame. I took the picture from the passenger side, because that is the side I jacked up. It would be right under the driver seat, on the frame.

Yes tank and fill are on driver side, Good Luck hope the pictures help.

Well, just spent 30 minutes crawling around underneath the thing and I'm pretty certain it does not have one??!! Jaysyl, which side of town are you on, maybe I'll run by and you can take a peek if you don't mind. Oh, and this is an '04, not an '05, if that matters.

Came to the conclusion, from another site, that mid 2003 they went to an in tank filter. Supposed to be good for 100,000 miles. Thing only has 17k on it now, so might not have to worry to change it out.

17k:eek: I thought I was crazy for doing mine at 55k:-laf. If it is in the tank forget about it. If mine were in the tank, it would not be changed for well over 100k. I do not think at 17k it needs to be changed. I am sure mine did not need it at 55k.
