New injectors bad mileage

Engine sound - Turbo Surge?

I own a 2006 Ram 2500 4x4 and recently had the transmission rebuilt by a local shop. They installed a Transgo shift kit and a billet torque converter, but to my knowledge, those are the only parts that are not stock. The problem is that now the transmission always starts off in 2nd gear and wont drop down into 1st. The only way the transmission will go into f1st is if it is manually selected on the shift lever. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Does the transmission shop have a warranty on it? Was it working fine after the repairs?

Transducer and\or gov solenoid is the frequent cause of this. Have the trans shop monitor actual and demanded governor pressures to see if something is sticking.

I had an issue on my 48re similar. I changed these and it fixed the issue. Along with a filter change and oil.

Sounds like the overrunning clutch is slipping. Bad part is that is almost the last part to come out of the housing during a teardown.
