hello
my 2006 3500 4x4 with 10.5 Aam rear axle started leaking So I decided to replace the u joints at the same time and fix the tail shaft leak at the transfer case output
Anyway I marked everything and them disassembled and was looking closely at the pinyon nut I noticed a mark on it so I made a reference mark to it.
later realizing there were 4 such marks on the nut so can someone please clue me in on getting the correct torque value on the nut I did note the threads out of the nut at 2.5 turns
past the end of the nut. This truck has 175000 first u joints and pinyon seal. One dam fine truck
Thanks for any input. I did search the forums but came up empty on this subject thanks
