My Jacobs switch was NOISY so I replaced it early in my EB's life with a switch from Pac Brake. It's shifter mounted and only uses 2 of the 4 wires as it doesn't have a light. It worked well for many years.

That’s a good idea as well..those seem to still be readily available..

And if the Pac Brake switch fails, it's just a common part and can be sourced from many different places.
Or replaced with something all together different...

Unreal it’s always most of the time the simplest thing the screw mounting the relay to firewall is used for the ground n was intermittent so that’s what it ended up but was fun tracing all wires n seeing where n what is a part of the whole picture!! Can’t thank all enough for the help diagrams etc great site!!!
