Reading posts about "long crank times", "bad fuel mileage" "haze at idle" and now my head hurts!!!
2007 5.9 auto, truck has 249,000 miles. Unknown maintenance records, had the truck about 6 months now. occasionally i will get a CEL P0341 and P1740, but they will clear on their own. I know the trans needs a build, it is slipping and generating excessive heat. The camshaft position sensor is on the to do list. Other issue is long crank times, occasionally. Now that it is getting colder, i've started plugging the truck in at night and have noticed that the crank times is significantly shorter after being plugged in. Fuel mileage is pretty low compared to my 06 i had previously, (approx 10-11 around town, empty, easy on the pedal). I'm leaning towards bad injectors. anyone else have any input?
