Hi I have a 2013 2500 6.7. last week my exhaust Regen came on and stated in process 100% full, but will not do the Regen, it just stays in Regen mode 100% full, I'm confused though why the truck isn't kicking into limp mode. Anyone else have this issue? And if so any possible solutions? Honestly want to delete everything but don't want inspection issues although I'm in VA and don't have emissions testing. Also I find conflicting reports on deleting the egr, some say it is beneficial for the truck, others say it isn't, can anyone give me some advice here I'm lost. Thanks in advance

I had the DPF pressure differential sensor fail last fall. Caused all kinds of strange things and codes. In my case the truck would keep going into ReGen, I could smell it each time I stopped for a light on Rt 13 in Va, an there a lot of lights. The local dealer said the sensor had water in it. It's Worth a check. [B

The purpose of the EGR is to reduce NOX at the tail pipe, deleting EGR seems to me like it could tax the SCR catalyst more, increased DEF usage, sounds counter productive to me.
Personally I'd either delete the whole system or leave it alone but that is just my opinion.
