2013 TDR CMEP Rally... Post Your Pictures!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to Robert and staff.
The wife and I had a great time. See y'all in two years!

Krystal & Clayton

I second that thought had a great time.

Also met some wonderful people there and at Ceraland camp ground. Again had a great time thanks for all the hardworking.

for being the first Rally I enjoyed the rally, meeting different people from other area's. :) the food was very great. :):) the tour was ok, and the only thing that I did not like was the did not show a bit more detail on the assembly and a have a few block's for people to look at, at the different steps of machining and what a bare casting block look's like.

Jennifer and I got home this afternoon and I couldn't wait to post a "thank you" to Robert and his fine staff. The Cummins folks were most hospitable, informative and the pride that they all exhibited in "our" engine was very evident. The whole event was managed very well and I think everybody I talked with had a wonderful time. To those that I didn't have the opportunity to say good-by to, we'll see you in two years! Ed

I sure hope so! At my age you've got to have something besides the Here-after and the next election to look forward to. Ed

I didn't hear anything for sure, however, there were quite a few that said they would be back if it was offered again. Ed

Hello TDR members, got back this afternoon from the CMEP Plant tour. First off thanks to the TDR, Cummins and Chrysler for putting on this event. Also all the TDR members that I got to spend time with, truly a great group. I attended the 2011 rally so I thought I would provide my goods and area's that could use a little attention. Let me just state I am not trying to start anything, just being honest.

Ride and Drive-Kind of disappointed the course was not a little longer. However with all the rain it is understandable. I did enjoy driving the new truck. The interior is light years ahead of my 06.

Fluid and Filter talk-What a great talk. Walking into this I kind of thought, I know all I need to know. I was very impressed with the Valvoline rep. I learned so much from him. Great opportunity, nice job!

Ram tech overview-Another fantastic time. The rolling frame was great to see and showcase the changes made. However I am not a fan of all the new EPA devices. That's a topic for another time, however the truck in general is fantastic.

Plant Tour-Without a doubt the biggest let down of the trip. We had our tour guided by a lady from payrole. She had no idea about anything. People would ask about the ISB powerplants being built, why are they red, what size are they, etc. She stated we would need to talk to someone else. She yelled at a couple of members for having their feet outside of the line on the floor by a foot or two, I understand following the rules but just ask them to move. No one in this group is looking to start problems. Just very very disappointed the person giving the tour had no idea what was going on and ran us through the plant in 40 minutes flat. We spent as much time hearing about where her office was and the nicknames of the machines than actually learning something. I really had a great tour in 2011 and talked it up to a few friends. They came this year and all left disappointed.

Operation and maintenance-Great info, good job

6. 7 tech-Another great job.

Here's my . 02 cents on how things went. In two years I may not come just because the plant tour was so bad. Everything else was at the high standard that I expect. Not trying to argue. Just posting my thoughts...

Just wanted to say thanks to Mr Patton and the people at CUMMINs for putting this rally together. You guys and gals out did your selves. Everything was awesome.
CUMMINS put out the welcome mat and made us not only feel welcome but at home, like family. The best way to say it is like family. WE are a family if you think about it. From all walks of life, from all locations we all have one common thread a CUMMINS DIESEL pulls us together. Thanks again for everything.

I took something like 100 pictures. I got the CMEP OK to photo the plant tour and will put some photos in the magazine.

Glad to have been there with you folks! It was a real pleasure to get to meet you guys!

I sure am glad someone was able to take photos of the tour. It is such a nice facility, and great folks inside/outside make it a welcoming place!

I had about that many pics from "outside", too many to post here on the forums, but here's a link if anyone wants to view them.

Thanks to all Robert, Wendy, Brandon, Scott, and all the TDR/Genos folks! You folks, along with everyone at the CMEP make this trip well worth the time and expense, then getting to see old friends and meet new ones makes this a must do trip!
